We&#8217;re hosting events for developers in ten cities around the world,<br \/>\n    as you can read about from<br \/>\n  <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.mattcutts.com\/blog\/google-developer-day\/\" class=\"external-link\">Matt Cutts<\/a><br \/>\n  and on our<br \/>\n  <a  href=\"https:\/\/googleblog.blogspot.com\/2007\/05\/29-hours-of-code.html\" class=\"external-link\">Google Blog<\/a>.<br \/>\n    Jonathan Simon and Maile Ohye, whom you have seen on this blog, at conferences, and in our<br \/>\n  <a  href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/webmasters\/community\" class=\"external-link\">discussion forum<\/a>,<br \/>\n    are currently hanging out at the event in San Jose.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nI&#8217;ve been at the Beijing event, where I gave a keynote about &#8220;Plumbing the Web&mdash;APIs and<br \/>\n    Infrastructures&#8221; for 600 Chinese web developers. I talked about a couple of my favorite topics,<br \/>\n    Sitemaps and Webmaster Tools, and some of the motivations behind them.
