To provide publishers and sites visibility into their Discover traffic,<br \/>\n  we&#8217;re adding a new report in Google Search Console to share relevant statistics and help answer<br \/>\n  questions such as:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How often is my site shown in users&#8217; Discover? How large is my traffic?<\/li>\n<li>Which pieces of content perform well in Discover?<\/li>\n<li>\n    How does my content perform differently in Discover compared to traditional search results?\n  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"attempt-right\" alt=\"an animation showcasing how results look in Discover\" height=\"573\"\n     src=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/kb-gorsel\/g-cd57d8d2f747.gif\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"284\"\/><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"a-quick-reminder:-what-is-discover\" tabindex=\"-1\">A quick reminder: What is Discover?<\/h2>\n<p>\n  Discover is a feature within Google Search that helps users stay up-to-date on all their favorite<br \/>\n  topics, without needing a query. Users get to their Discover experience in the Google app, on the<br \/>\n  Google.com mobile home page, and by swiping right from the homescreen on Pixel phones. It has grown<br \/>\n  significantly since launching in 2017 and now helps more than<br \/>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blog.google\/products\/search\/introducing-google-discover\/\" class=\"external-link\">800M monthly active<\/a><br \/>\n  users get inspired and explore new information by surfacing articles, videos, and other content on<br \/>\n  topics they care most about. Users have the ability to follow topics directly or let Google know<br \/>\n  if they&#8217;d like to see more or less of a specific topic. In addition, Discover isn&#8217;t limited to<br \/>\n  what&#8217;s new. It surfaces the best of the web regardless of publication date, from recipes and human<br \/>\n  interest stories, to fashion videos and more.
