Some of the information may be outdated (for example, some images may be missing, and some links may not work anymore).<\/aside>\n<p class=\"gargardate\">July 14, 2006<\/p>\n<p>\n  Yesterday we told you that you can<br \/>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/google-bilgi-bankasi\/more-control-over-page-snippets\/\">use a <code>meta<\/code> tag to ask us not to use descriptions<\/a><br \/>\n  of your site from the<br \/>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dmoz.org\/\" class=\"external-link\">Open Directory Project<\/a><br \/>\n  (ODP) when we generate snippets. Some of you have asked if this <code>meta<\/code> tag prevents us from using<br \/>\n  the title from the ODP as well. Yes, this <code>meta<\/code> tag does apply to both the title and description<br \/>\n  from the ODP.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Also, as noted in our<br \/>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/google-bilgi-bankasi\/title-links\/\">webmaster help center<\/a>, you can combine parameters<br \/>\n  in the <code>meta<\/code> tag.
