Some of the information may be outdated (for example, some images may be missing, and some links may not work anymore).<\/aside>\n<p class=\"gargardate\">Thursday, March 31, 2011<\/p>\n<p>\n  The Chrome team is exploring a<br \/>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.chromium.org\/2011\/03\/ua-string-changes-coming-in-chrome-11\" class=\"external-link\">few changes to Chrome&#8217;s UA string<\/a>.<br \/>\n  These changes are designed to provide additional details in the user-agent, remove redundancy,<br \/>\n  and increase compatibility with Internet Explorer. They&#8217;re also happening in conjunction with<br \/>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/hacks.mozilla.org\/2010\/09\/final-user-agent-string-for-firefox-4\/\" class=\"external-link\">similar changes in Firefox 4<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  We intend to ship Chrome 11 with these changes, assuming they don&#8217;t cause major web compatibility<br \/>\n  problems. To test them out and ensure your website remains compatible with Chrome, we recommend<br \/>\n  trying the Chrome<br \/>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chromium.org\/getting-involved\/dev-channel\" class=\"external-link\">Dev<\/a><br \/>\n  and<br \/>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/intl\/en\/landing\/chrome\/beta\/\" class=\"external-link\">Beta<\/a><br \/>\n  channel builds.
