\n step in improving the job search experience on Google by adding a feature that shows estimated
\n salary information from the web alongside job postings, as well as adding new UI features for

\n Salary information has been one of the most requested additions from job seekers. This helps
\n people evaluate whether a job is a good fit, and is an opportunity for sites with estimated salary
\n information to:\n<\/p>\n

- \n Increase brand awareness<\/b>: Estimated salary information shows a representative logo from
\n the estimated salary provider.\n <\/li>\n- \n Get more referral traffic<\/b>: Users can click through directly to salary estimate pages
\n when salary information surfaces in job search results.\n <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n If your site provides salary estimates, you can take advantage of these changes in the following
\n ways:\n<\/p>\nSpecify actual salary information<\/h2>\n
\n Actual salary refers to the base salary information that is provided by the employer. If your site
\n publishes job listings, you can add
\nJobPosting<\/code> structured data<\/a>
\n and populate thebaseSalary<\/code> property to be eligible for inclusion in job search
\n results.\n<\/p>\n\n This salary information will be made available in both the list and the detail views.\n<\/p>\n

\n In cases where employers don’t provide actual salary, job seekers may see estimated salaries

\n We’ve heard from users that having accurate, street-level location information helps them to focus
\n on opportunities that work best for them. Sites that publish job listings can do this by using the
\n jobLocation property in
\n JobPosting structured data<\/a>.\n<\/p>\nValidate your structured data<\/h2>\n
\n To double-check the structured data on your pages, we’ll be updating the
\n Structured Data Testing Tool<\/a>
\n and the
\n Search Console reports<\/a>
