We believe that this data will be much easier<br \/>\n    to read outside SC and store it for your future reference (if needed). You&#8217;ll find a section<br \/>\n    at the end of this post describing other ways to use your Search Console data outside the tool.<br \/>\n  <\/p>\n<h2 id=\"enhancement-reports-and-more\" tabindex=\"-1\">\n   Enhancement reports and more<br \/>\n  <\/h2>\n<p>\n  When exporting data from a report, for example AMP status, you&#8217;ll now be able to export the data<br \/>\n    behind the charts, not only the details table (as previously). This means that in addition to<br \/>\n    the list of issues and their affected pages, you&#8217;ll also see a daily breakdown of your pages,<br \/>\n    their status, and impressions received by them on Google Search results. If you are exporting<br \/>\n    data from a specific drill-down view, you can see the details describing this view in the<br \/>\n    exported file.\n  <\/p>\n<p>\n  If you choose Google Sheets or Excel (new!) you&#8217;ll get a spreadsheet with two tabs, and if you<br \/>\n    choose to download as csv, you&#8217;ll get a zip file with two csv files.\n  <\/p>\n<p>\n  Here is a<br \/>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1aZD7eAqjiIYAPc8PewVsJZnrErvOI5CFXu9x9fubiNY\/\" class=\"external-link\">sample<br \/>\n    dataset<\/a> downloaded from the AMP status report. We changed the titles of the spreadsheet to<br \/>\n    be descriptive for this post, but the original title includes the domain name, the report, and the date of the export.\n  <\/p>\n<p>  <img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"AMP report export sample\" src=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/kb-gorsel\/g-43507be70cc8.png\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"performance-report\" tabindex=\"-1\">\n   Performance report<br \/>\n  <\/h2>\n<p>  When it comes to Performance data, we have two improvements:<br \/>\n  <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n    You can now download the content of all tabs with one click. This means that you&#8217;ll now get the<br \/>\n     data on Queries, Pages, Countries, Devices, Search appearances and Dates, all together. The<br \/>\n     download output is the same as explained above, Google sheets or Excel spreadsheet with<br \/>\n     multiple tabs and csv files compressed in a zip file.\n   <\/li>\n<li>\n    Along with the performance data, you&#8217;ll have an extra tab (or csv file) called &#8220;Filters&#8221;, which<br \/>\n     shows which filters were applied when the data was exported.\n   <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\n    Here is a<br \/>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1A37a2Pf5mIRY7WvDIFOCWlCrOjsD0ZMzE2FL-6RxmNg\/\" class=\"external-link\">sample dataset<\/a><br \/>\n    downloaded from the Performance report.\n  <\/p>\n<p>\n    <img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Performance on Search export sample\" src=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/kb-gorsel\/g-3af218a1284d.png\" loading=\"lazy\">\n  <\/p>\n<h2 id=\"additional-ways-to-use-search-console-data-outside-the-tool\" tabindex=\"-1\">\n   Additional ways to use Search Console data outside the tool<br \/>\n  <\/h2>\n<p>\n    Since we&#8217;re talking about exporting data, we thought we&#8217;d take the opportunity to talk about<br \/>\n    other ways you can currently use Search Console data outside the tool. You might want to do this<br \/>\n    if you have a specific use case that is important to your company, such as joining the data with<br \/>\n    another dataset, performing an advanced analysis, or visualizing the data in a different way.<br \/>\n    There are two options, depending on the data you want and your technical level.\n  <\/p>\n<h3 id=\"search-console-api\" tabindex=\"-1\">\n   Search Console API<br \/>\n  <\/h3>\n<p>\n    If you have a technical background, or a developer in your company can help you, you might<br \/>\n    consider using the<br \/>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.google.com\/webmaster-tools\" class=\"external-link\">Search Console API<\/a> to view, add, or<br \/>\n    remove properties and sitemaps, and to run advanced queries for Google Search results data.\n  <\/p>\n<p>\n    We have plenty of documentation on the subject, but here are some links that might be useful to<br \/>\n    you if you&#8217;re starting now:\n  <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n    The <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.google.com\/webmaster-tools\/v1\/prereqs\" class=\"external-link\">Overview and prerequisites<br \/>\n     guide<\/a> walks you through the things you should do before writing your first client<br \/>\n     application. You&#8217;ll also find more advanced guides in the sidebar of this section, for example<br \/>\n     a guide on how to<br \/>\n     <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.google.com\/webmaster-tools\/v1\/how-tos\/all-your-data\" class=\"external-link\">query all your<br \/>\n       search data<\/a>.\n   <\/li>\n<li>\n    The <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.google.com\/webmaster-tools\/v1\/api_reference_index\" class=\"external-link\">reference section<\/a><br \/>\n     provides details on query parameters, usage limits and errors returned by the API.\n   <\/li>\n<li>\n    The <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.google.com\/webmaster-tools\/v1\/libraries\" class=\"external-link\">API samples<\/a> provides<br \/>\n     links to sample code for several programming languages, a great way to get up and running.\n   <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 id=\"google-data-studio\" tabindex=\"-1\">\n   Google Data Studio<br \/>\n  <\/h3>\n<p>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/marketingplatform.google.com\/about\/data-studio\/\" class=\"external-link\">Google Data Studio<\/a><br \/>\n    is a dashboarding solution that helps you unify data from different data sources, explore it, and<br \/>\n     tell impactful data stories. The tool provides a<br \/>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/datastudio\/answer\/7314895\" class=\"external-link\">Search Console connector<\/a><br \/>\n    to import various metrics and dimensions into your dashboard. This can be valuable if you&#8217;d like<br \/>\n     to see Search Console data side-by-side with data from other tools.\n  <\/p>\n<p>\n    If you&#8217;d like to give it a try, you can use<br \/>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/datastudio.google.com\/c\/reporting\/0B_U5RNpwhcE6QXg4SXFBVGUwMjg\/page\/6zXD\/preview\" class=\"external-link\">this template<\/a><br \/>\n    to visualize your data &#8211; click &#8220;use template&#8221; at the top right corner of the page<br \/>\n    to connect to your data.
