These experiences aim to:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Improve the visibility of South African platforms on the search results page<\/li>\n<li>Make it easier for users to filter and explore South African results<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"new-south-african-badge\" data-text='New \"South African\" badge ' tabindex=\"-1\">New &#8220;South African&#8221; badge <\/h2>\n<p>\n  A &#8220;South African&#8221; badge is shown on the search results page, for applicable web results and<br \/>\n  advertisements from eligible South African platforms. This badge doesn&#8217;t<br \/>\n  change the ranking of results. This new badge (example below) is available for web results for<br \/>\n  travel, car hire, bus booking, shopping, and food delivery queries in South Africa. It&#8217;s also<br \/>\n  available for advertisements in travel and shopping for eligible South African platforms.\n<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/kb-gorsel\/g-f4bf185be6cf.png\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"300\" alt=\"South African badge on a Google Search result\"><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"new-south-african-refinement-chips\" data-text='New \"South African\" refinement chips ' tabindex=\"-1\">New &#8220;South African&#8221; refinement chips <\/h2>\n<p>\n  Refinement chips can help users focus the Search page on specific types of web results. Searchers<br \/>\n  in South Africa can activate the &#8220;South African&#8221; refinement chip at the top of the Search results<br \/>\n  page to refine their view to eligible South African travel and shopping platforms.
