When<br \/>\n  people come to Search looking to track a package shipped with your company, they&#8217;ll be able to<br \/>\n  enter a package ID directly. The feature uses your API to retrieve the package tracking<br \/>\n  information and then displays it to the user. Here&#8217;s how package tracking information may appear<br \/>\n  on Google Search when a user seeks to track a package.\n    <\/p>\n<p>    <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/kb-gorsel\/g-d97657b905b0.png\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"600\" alt=\"package tracking in search results\"><\/p>\n<aside class=\"note\">\n      <b>Note<\/b>: The actual appearance in search results might be different.<br \/>\n    <\/aside>\n<h2 id=\"feature-availability\" tabindex=\"-1\">\n      Feature availability<br \/>\n    <\/h2>\n<p>\n      Package tracking is available in all languages and countries where Google Search is available.<br \/>\n      The program is no longer accepting new partners.\n    <\/p>\n<h3 id=\"availability\" tabindex=\"-1\">Availability and responsiveness<\/h3>\n<p>\n      We expect almost no downtime from your API and require that your API respond within 700ms on<br \/>\n      average with the 95th percentile not exceeding 1,000ms. If your API doesn&#8217;t meet<br \/>\n      these requirements, we may stop displaying your package tracking information.\n    <\/p>\n<h3 id=\"content\" tabindex=\"-1\">Content<\/h3>\n<p>\n      For the integration to work, your API must return the following information:\n    <\/p>\n<table class=\"responsive\">\n<tr>\n<th colspan=\"2\">Required field<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><code>CurrentStatus<\/code>\n       <\/td>\n<td>The current status of the package. This includes the date and time this status became<br \/>\n         valid and any error states.\n       <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n<p>\n    We strongly recommend that your API also return the following information:\n    <\/p>\n<table class=\"responsive\">\n<tr>\n<th colspan=\"2\">Recommended fields<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><code>DeliveredDate<\/code>\n       <\/td>\n<td>The day and time the package was delivered (if it has been delivered).\n       <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><code>PromisedDate<\/code>\n       <\/td>\n<td>The date the package is expected to be delivered.\n       <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><code>TrackingNumber<\/code>\n       <\/td>\n<td>The tracking number for the package.\n       <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><code>TrackingURL<\/code>\n       <\/td>\n<td>The website URL that a user can visit to view package tracking information and possible additional details.\n       <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><code>SupportPhoneNumbers<\/code>\n       <\/td>\n<td>A list of support phone numbers available per region.\n       <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><code>TransitEvents<\/code>\n       <\/td>\n<td>The set of events that denote when a package makes interim progress on its journey to the recipient, including the Day, Time, City, State, and Country (where applicable).\n       <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><code>CreateDate<\/code>\n       <\/td>\n<td>The day and time the tracking number was created.\n       <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><code>PickupDate<\/code>\n       <\/td>\n<td>The date the package was picked up by the carrier.\n       <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><code>TimestampEvent<\/code>\n       <\/td>\n<td>The timestamp of an event associated with a given package.\n       <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><code>LocationEvent<\/code>\n       <\/td>\n<td>The location of an event associated with a given package.\n       <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><code>CanReschedule<\/code>\n       <\/td>\n<td>Whether this package can be re-scheduled.\n       <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n<p>\n      We don&#8217;t accept the following information:\n    <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Any personal data about the recipient or sender of the package.<\/li>\n<li>Any geographical information about the recipient or sender of the package.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Package tracking is a feature that shows package tracking information on Search.
