It&#8217;s no wonder: the secret is out &#8211; as a<br \/>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/google-bilgi-bankasi\/research-study-of-sitemaps\/\">recent research study<\/a><br \/>\n  showed, Sitemaps helps search engines to find new and changed content faster. Using Sitemaps<br \/>\n  doesn&#8217;t guarantee that your site will be crawled and indexed completely, but it certainly helps<br \/>\n  us understand your website better.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Together with the<br \/>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/google-bilgi-bankasi\/out-with-the-old-in-with-the-new\/\">Webmaster Tools design update<\/a>,<br \/>\n  we&#8217;ve been working on Sitemaps as well:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n    Google and the other search engines which are a part of<br \/>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sitemaps.org\/index.html\" class=\"external-link\">Sitemaps.org<\/a><br \/>\n    now support up to 50,000 child Sitemaps for<br \/>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sitemaps.org\/index.html\" class=\"external-link\">Sitemap index files<\/a><br \/>\n    (instead of the previous 1,000). This allows large sites to submit a theoretical maximum of<br \/>\n    2.5 billion URLs with a single Sitemap Index URL (oh, and if you need more, you can always<br \/>\n    submit multiple Sitemap index files).\n  <\/li>\n<li>\n    The<br \/>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/google-bilgi-bankasi\/spring-time-design-refresh\/\">Webmaster Tools design update<\/a><br \/>\n    now shows you all Sitemap files that were submitted for your verified website. This is<br \/>\n    particularly useful if you have multiple owners verified in Webmaster Tools or if you are<br \/>\n    submitting some Sitemap files via<br \/>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/support\/webmasters\/bin\/answer.py?answer=34609\" class=\"external-link\">HTTP ping<\/a><br \/>\n    or through your <a href=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/google-bilgi-bankasi\/sitemaps-overview\/\">robots.txt<\/a><br \/>\n    file.\n  <\/li>\n<li>\n    The<br \/>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/google-bilgi-bankasi\/using-stats-from-site-and-sitemap-details\/\">indexed URL count<\/a><br \/>\n    in Webmaster Tools for your Sitemap files is now even more precise.\n  <\/li>\n<li>\n    For the XML developers out there, we&#8217;ve updated the<br \/>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sitemaps.org\/schemas\/sitemap\/0.9\/\" class=\"external-link\">XSD schemas<\/a><br \/>\n    to allow Sitemap extensions. The new schema helps webmasters to create better Sitemaps by<br \/>\n    verifying more features. By validating Sitemap files with the new schema, you can be more<br \/>\n    confident that the Sitemap files are correct.\n  <\/li>\n<li>\n    Do I need to mention that Sitemap file processing is much faster than ever before?
