Some of the information may be outdated (for example, some images may be missing, and some links may not work anymore).<\/aside>\n<p class=\"gargardate\">Friday, May 06, 2011<\/p>\n<p>\n  With<br \/>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/google-bilgi-bankasi\/instant-previews\/\">Instant Previews<\/a>, users can see a snapshot of<br \/>\n  a search result before clicking on it. We&#8217;ve made a number of<br \/>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/googleblog.blogspot.com\/2011\/04\/this-week-in-search-41511\" class=\"external-link\">improvements<\/a><br \/>\n  to the feature since its introduction last November, and if you own a site, one of the most<br \/>\n  relevant changes for you is that Instant Previews now supports Flash.\n<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"An Instant Preview with rich content rendered\" src=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/kb-gorsel\/g-256fd0b4fba2.png\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/p>\n<p>\n  In most cases, when the preview for a page is generated through our regular crawl, we will now<br \/>\n  render a snapshot of any Flash components on the page. This will replace the &#8220;puzzle piece&#8221; icon<br \/>\n  that previously appeared to indicate Flash components, and should improve the accuracy of the<br \/>\n  previews.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  However, for pages that are fetched on demand by the &#8220;Google Web Preview&#8221; user-agent, we will<br \/>\n  generate a preview without Flash in order to minimize latency. In these cases the preview will<br \/>\n  appear as if the page were visited by someone using a browser without Flash enabled, and<br \/>\n  &#8220;Install Flash&#8221; messages may appear in the preview, depending on how your website handles users<br \/>\n  without Flash.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  To improve your previews for these on-demand renders, here are some guidelines for using Flash on<br \/>\n  your site:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n    <b>Make sure that your site has a reasonable, seamless experience for visitors without Flash.<\/b><br \/>\n    This may involve creating HTML-only equivalents for your Flash-based content that will<br \/>\n    automatically be shown to visitors who can&#8217;t view Flash. Providing a good experience for this<br \/>\n    case will improve your preview and make your visitors happier.\n  <\/li>\n<li>\n    If Flash components are rendering but appear as loading screens instead of actual content,<br \/>\n    <b>try reducing the loading time for the component<\/b>.
