However, many people<br \/>\n  still have slow and costly mobile connections. To speed up the experience of our users on slow<br \/>\n  connections, we recently launched<br \/>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/plus.google.com\/+google\/posts\/XZo6qgrNDE9\" class=\"external-link\">streamlined search results<\/a>.<br \/>\n  However, we wondered if we could also speed up the web pages themselves, so they don&#8217;t load<br \/>\n  slowly or consume too much mobile data. So we&#8217;ve developed a way to optimize web pages to be<br \/>\n  faster and lighter, while preserving most of the relevant content.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  In two weeks, we&#8217;re starting a field test in Indonesia to provide streamlined search results and<br \/>\n  optimized pages when the user searches on slow mobile connections, such as 2G. Our experiments<br \/>\n  show that optimized pages load four times faster than the original page and use 80% fewer bytes.<br \/>\n  As our users&#8217; overall experience became faster, we saw a 50% increase in traffic to these<br \/>\n  optimized pages.\n<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt src=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/kb-gorsel\/g-dbcd5b44e32d.png\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/p>\n<p>\n  These faster optimized pages help publishers and advertisers reach new audiences. In addition, a<br \/>\n  link to the original page will always be available, so users can still choose to view that<br \/>\n  version. Publishers, you can preview how your page will look in this optimized format by visiting<br \/>\n  our <a href=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/google-bilgi-bankasi\/latest-documentation-updates\/\">help page for webmasters<\/a>. If you would<br \/>\n  prefer your pages not be optimized, the help page also provides the relevant details on how to opt<br \/>\n  out.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Webmasters can continue to monetize their content with these optimized pages. We have been working<br \/>\n  with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zedo.com\/\" class=\"external-link\">Zedo<\/a> and<br \/>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sovrn.com\/\" class=\"external-link\">Sovrn<\/a> to support their ads along with<br \/>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/adsense\/start\/\" class=\"external-link\">AdSense<\/a>, and we are working<br \/>\n  to support<br \/>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/doubleclick\/publishers\/welcome\/\" class=\"external-link\">DoubleClick for Publishers<\/a><br \/>\n  as well. We&#8217;re just getting started, but hope to add support for other ad networks.
