\n provide users with more information about your recipe, resulting in higher quality traffic to your
\n site.\n<\/p>\nUpdated recipe properties to help users find your recipes<\/h2>\n

\n users find your recipes and experience them with Google Search and the Google Assistant on Google
\n Home. This will enable more potential traffic to your site. To ensure that users can access your
\n recipe in more ways, we need more information about your recipe. We now recommend the following
\n properties:\n<\/p>\n\n

\n “dinner”, “dessert”, “entree”)\n <\/li>\n
\n “Mediterranean”, “American”, “Cantonese”)\n <\/li>\n
\n holiday (“Halloween”, “Diwali”), the special event (“wedding”, “birthday”), or other descriptors
\n (“quick”, “budget”, “authentic”)\n <\/li>\n<\/ul>\nrecipeInstructions<\/code>. You can specify each step of the
\n recipe with the HowToStep<\/code> property, and sections of steps with the
\n HowToSection<\/code> property.\n<\/p>\nAdd recipe instructions and ingredients for the Google Assistant<\/h2>\n
recipeIngredient<\/code> and recipeInstructions<\/code> properties if
\n you want to support the Google Assistant on Google Home. Adding these properties can make your
\n recipe eligible for integration with the Google Assistant, enabling more users to discover your
\n recipes. If your recipe doesn’t have these properties, it won’t be eligible for guidance with the
\n Google Assistant, but it can still be eligible to appear in Search results.\n<\/p>\n
