Here are<br \/>\n  some updates on how it&#8217;s progressing.\n<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"welcome-url-inspection-tool\" data-text='Welcome \"URL inspection\" tool' tabindex=\"-1\">Welcome &#8220;URL inspection&#8221; tool<\/h2>\n<p>\n  One of our most common user requests in Search Console is for more details on how Google Search<br \/>\n  sees a specific URL. We listened, and today we&#8217;ve started launching a new tool,<br \/>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/webmasters\/answer\/9012289\" class=\"external-link\">URL inspection<\/a>,<br \/>\n  to provide these details so Search becomes more transparent. The URL Inspection tool provides<br \/>\n  detailed<br \/>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/webmasters\/answer\/70897\" class=\"external-link\">crawl, index, and serving information<\/a><br \/>\n  about your pages, directly from the Google index.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Enter a URL that you own to learn the last crawl date and status, any crawling or indexing errors,<br \/>\n  and the canonical URL for that page. If the page was successfully indexed, you can see information<br \/>\n  and status about any enhancements we found on the page, such as linked AMP version or rich results<br \/>\n  like Recipes and Jobs.\n<\/p>\n<figure class=\"attempt-center\">\n  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/kb-gorsel\/g-c8051282e988.png\" loading=\"lazy\"\n       alt=\"URL is indexed with valid AMP enhancement\" class=\"screenshot\"><figcaption>URL is indexed with valid AMP enhancement<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\n  If a page isn&#8217;t indexed, you can learn why. The new report includes information about<br \/>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/google-bilgi-bankasi\/block-search-indexing-with-noindex\/\"><code>noindex<\/code> <span>robots<\/span> <code>meta<\/code> tags<\/a> and Google&#8217;s<br \/>\n  canonical URL for the page.\n<\/p>\n<figure class=\"attempt-center\">\n  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/kb-gorsel\/g-802705476b54.png\" loading=\"lazy\"\n       alt=\"URL is not indexed due to noindex meta tag in the HTML\" class=\"screenshot\"><figcaption>URL is not indexed due to <code>noindex<\/code> <code>meta<\/code> tag in the HTML<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\n  A single click can take you to the issue report showing all other pages affected by the same issue<br \/>\n  to help you track down and fix common bugs.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  We hope that the URL Inspection tool will help you debug issues with new or existing pages in the<br \/>\n  Google index. We began rolling it out today; it will become available to all users in the coming<br \/>\n  weeks.\n<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"more-exciting-updates\" tabindex=\"-1\">More exciting updates<\/h2>\n<p>\n  In addition to the launch of URL inspection, we have a few more features and reports we recently<br \/>\n  launched to the new Search Console:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n    <b>16 months of traffic data<\/b>: The<br \/>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.google.com\/webmaster-tools\/search-console-api-original\/v3\/searchanalytics\" class=\"external-link\">Search Analytics API<\/a><br \/>\n    now returns 16 months of data, just like the<br \/>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/webmasters\/answer\/7576553\" class=\"external-link\">Performance report<\/a>.\n  <\/li>\n<li>\n    <b>Recipe report<\/b>: The<br \/>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/webmasters\/answer\/7552505\" class=\"external-link\">Recipe report<\/a><br \/>\n    help you fix structured data issues affecting recipes rich results. Use our<br \/>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/google-bilgi-bankasi\/introducing-the-new-search-console\/\">task-oriented interface<\/a> to<br \/>\n    test and validate your fixes; we will keep you informed on your progress using messages.\n  <\/li>\n<li>\n    <b>New Search Appearance filters in Search Analytics<\/b>: The<br \/>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/webmasters\/answer\/7576553\" class=\"external-link\">performance<\/a><br \/>\n    report now gives you more visibility on new search appearance results, including<br \/>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/webmasters\/answer\/6211428\" class=\"external-link\">Web Light<\/a><br \/>\n    and<br \/>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.android.com\/topic\/google-play-instant\/\" class=\"external-link\">Google Play Instant<\/a><br \/>\n    results.\n  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"thank-you-for-your-feedback\" tabindex=\"-1\">Thank you for your feedback<\/h2>\n<p>\n  We are constantly reading your feedback, conducting surveys, and monitoring usage statistics of<br \/>\n  the new Search Console. We are happy to see so many of you using the new<br \/>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/google-bilgi-bankasi\/introducing-the-new-search-console\/#enhance\">issue validation flow<\/a><br \/>\n  in Index Coverage and the AMP report. We notice that issues tend to get fixed quicker when you use<br \/>\n  these tools. We also see that you appreciate the updates on the validation process that we provide<br \/>\n  by email or on the validation details page.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  We want to thank everyone who provided feedback: it has helped us improve our flows and fix bugs<br \/>\n  on our side.\n<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"more-to-come\" tabindex=\"-1\">More to come<\/h2>\n<p>\n  The new Search Console is still beta, but it&#8217;s adding features and reports every month.
