Creating a video sitemap is a<br \/>\n  good way to help Google find and understand the video content on your site, especially<br \/>\n  content that was recently added or that we might not otherwise discover with our usual<br \/>\n  crawling mechanisms.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Google recommends using video sitemaps, however we also support <a href=\"#sitemap_alternatives\">mRSS feeds<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"video-sitemap-best-practices\" tabindex=\"-1\">Video sitemap best practices<\/h2>\n<p>\n  Video sitemaps are based on generic sitemaps, so the<br \/>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/google-bilgi-bankasi\/build-submit-sitemap\/#general-guidelines\">general sitemap best practices<\/a><br \/>\n  also apply to video sitemaps. You can create a separate sitemap or mRSS feed just for video,<br \/>\n  or you can add video sitemap tags within an existing<br \/>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/google-bilgi-bankasi\/build-submit-sitemap\/#xml\">sitemap<\/a>, whichever is more<br \/>\n   convenient for you.\n<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the following requirements apply to video sitemaps specifically:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n    Don&#8217;t list videos that are unrelated to the content of the host page. For example, a video<br \/>\n    that is a small addendum to the page, or unrelated to the main text content.\n  <\/li>\n<li>\n    All files referenced in the video sitemap must be accessible to Googlebot. This means that<br \/>\n    all URLs in the video sitemap:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n        must not be disallowed for crawling by<br \/>\n        <a href=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/google-bilgi-bankasi\/robots-txt-intro\/\">robots.txt<\/a> rules,\n      <\/li>\n<li>\n        must be accessible without metafiles and without logging in,\n      <\/li>\n<li>\n        must not be blocked by firewalls or similar mechanism,\n      <\/li>\n<li>\n        and must be accessible on a supported protocol: HTTP and FTP (streaming protocols are<br \/>\n        not supported).\n      <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n      If you want to prevent spammers from accessing your video content at the<br \/>\n      <code>&lt;player_loc&gt;<\/code> ou <code>&lt;content_loc&gt;<\/code> URLs,<br \/>\n      <a href=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/google-bilgi-bankasi\/verify-requests-from-google-crawlers-and-fetchers\/\">verify that any bots accessing your server are really Googlebot<\/a>.\n    <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n  For more tips about videos in Google Search, see our<br \/>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/google-bilgi-bankasi\/video-search\/\">video best practices<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"example-video-sitemap\" tabindex=\"-1\">Example video sitemap<\/h2>\n<p>\n  The following example shows a regular sitemap with video extension. It includes two video<br \/>\n  entries nested in the single <code>&lt;url&gt;<\/code> tag. The first<br \/>\n  <code>&lt;video&gt;<\/code> entry includes all the tags that Google can use while the second<br \/>\n  only the required tags.\n<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"video-sitemap-reference\" tabindex=\"-1\">Video sitemap reference<\/h2>\n<p>\n  The <code>video<\/code> tags are defined in the video sitemaps namespace:<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/schemas\/sitemap-video\/1.1\" class=\"external-link\"><code>http:\/\/www.google.com\/schemas\/sitemap-video\/1.1<\/code><\/a>.<br \/>\n  Each tag can only be added one time per video, unless otherwise specified.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  To make sure Google can use your video sitemap, you must use the following required tags:\n<\/p>\n<table class=\"responsive\">\n<tr>\n<th colspan=\"2\">Required tags<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><code>&lt;video:video&gt;<\/code><\/td>\n<td>\n<p>\n        The parent element for all information about a single video on the page specified by<br \/>\n        the <code>&lt;loc&gt;<\/code> tag. You can include multiple<br \/>\n        <code>&lt;video:video&gt;<\/code> tags nested in the <code>&lt;loc&gt;<\/code> tag, one<br \/>\n        for each video on the hosting page.\n      <\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><code>&lt;video:thumbnail_loc&gt;<\/code><\/td>\n<td>\n<p>\n        A URL pointing to the video thumbnail image file. Supported values are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n          <code>yes<\/code>: The video is a livestream.\n        <\/li>\n<li>\n          <code>no<\/code>: The video is not a livestream.\n        <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><code>&lt;video:tag&gt;<\/code><\/td>\n<td>\n<p>\n        An arbitrary string tag describing the video. Tags are generally very short<br \/>\n        descriptions of key concepts associated with a video or piece of content. A single<br \/>\n        video could have several tags, although it might belong to only one category. For<br \/>\n        example, a video about grilling food may belong in the &#8220;grilling&#8221; category, but could<br \/>\n        be tagged &#8220;steak&#8221;, &#8220;meat&#8221;, &#8220;summer&#8221;, and &#8220;outdoor&#8221;. Create a new<br \/>\n        <code>&lt;video:tag&gt;<\/code> element for each tag associated with a video. A maximum<br \/>\n        of 32 tags is permitted per video.\n      <\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n<h2 id=\"sitemap_alternatives\" tabindex=\"-1\">Sitemap alternative: mRSS<\/h2>\n<p>\n  While Google recommends using video sitemaps, we also support mRSS feeds.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Google supports <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rssboard.org\/media-rss\" class=\"external-link\">mRSS<\/a>,<br \/>\n  an RSS module that supplements the element capabilities of<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/cyber.law.harvard.edu\/rss\/rss.html\" class=\"external-link\">RSS 2.0<\/a>.<br \/>\n  mRSS feeds are very similar to video sitemaps and can be tested, submitted, and updated just<br \/>\n  like sitemaps.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  For more information about media feeds, see the<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rssboard.org\/media-rss\" class=\"external-link\">official media RSS documentation<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<aside class=\"note\">\n  <b>RSS vs mRSS<\/b>: mRSS is a RSS extension used for syndicating multimedia files. It allows<br \/>\n  for a much more detailed description of the content than the RSS standard.<br \/>\n<\/aside>\n<h3 id=\"mrss-example\" tabindex=\"-1\">mRSS Example<\/h3>\n<p>Here&#8217;s an example of an mRSS entry that provides all the tags that Google uses.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<h3 id=\"mrss-reference\" tabindex=\"-1\">mRSS reference<\/h3>\n<p>\n  The<br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rssboard.org\/media-rss\" class=\"external-link\">full mRSS specification<\/a><br \/>\n  contains more optional tags, best practices, and examples.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  To make sure Google can use your mRSS feed, you must use the following required tags:\n<\/p>\n<table class=\"responsive\">\n<tr>\n<th colspan=\"2\">Required tags<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><code>&lt;media:content&gt;<\/code><\/td>\n<td>\n<p>Encloses information about the video.<\/p>\n<p>Attributes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n          <code>medium<\/code>: Type of content.
