The requirements are unusually specific, and they are as much editorial as technical.<\/p>\n<h2>Access requirements<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Publications <strong>freely available<\/strong> \u2014 registration to read counts as restricted access.<\/li>\n<li>Each URL leads to <strong>a separate page with the full text<\/strong>, with title and opening text visible on the first screen at <strong>1024\u00d7768<\/strong> on desktop and <strong>360\u00d7640<\/strong> on mobile.<\/li>\n<li>The URL is a unique identifier \u2014 never a list page or the home page.<\/li>\n<li>Fast, stable access; a mobile version; and content updated at the frequency the site claims.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Content rules<\/h2>\n<p>Publications must comply with law, avoid obscene language including masked forms, and be informational, analytical or review material. Explicitly excluded: blog and forum posts, advertisements, poems, jokes, satire, horoscopes, fiction, and <strong>digest items<\/strong> \u2014 &#8220;main news of the day&#8221;, &#8220;weekly results&#8221;, &#8220;what happened last night&#8221;. At least one new publication per week. <strong>No advertising inside the exported text<\/strong> (the site&#8217;s own pages may carry it). Titles and texts must not mislead about content, authorship or source. No spelling or syntax errors. A separate page with publication details and contact information. Translated articles <strong>must not be machine-translated<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Title criteria<\/h2>\n<p>Good: grammatically correct, neutral, accurate, indicating the source, free of attention-baiting distortion, conforming to literary norms. Bad: grammatical or lexical errors, unnamed persons or organisations acting, <strong>clickbait<\/strong>, metaphors, clich\u00e9s, jargon or obscenity.<\/p>\n<h2>The feed itself<\/h2>\n<p><strong>RSS 2.0, XML, encoding declared, maximum 10 MB, reachable over HTTP or HTTPS.<\/strong> Items carry title, link, description, author, category, publication date and Yandex-specific elements such as <code>yandex:genre<\/code> and <code>yandex:full-text<\/code>; media groups carry video and thumbnails.
