A 404 for a page you deliberately deleted is correct behaviour. The skill is telling deliberate from accidental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Errors that need action<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Server error (5xx)<\/strong>, the page exists but the server failed. Sustained 5xx leads to removal from the index.<\/li><li><strong>Redirect error<\/strong>, chains that are too long, loops, or redirects to a 404.<\/li><li><strong>Blocked by robots.txt<\/strong> on a page you want indexed.<\/li><li><strong>Soft 404<\/strong>, a &#8220;not found&#8221; message returned with status 200.<\/li><li><strong>Submitted URL marked noindex<\/strong>, the sitemap and the page contradict each other.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Statuses that are usually fine<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Crawled, currently not indexed&#8221; often means Google read the page and judged it not worth storing; that is a content question, not a technical one. &#8220;Discovered, currently not indexed&#8221; usually means crawl priority, common on large new sites. &#8220;Alternate page with proper canonical tag&#8221; is the system working correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"ar-kb-tavsiye\"><p><strong>Alien Road recommends:<\/strong> fix 5xx and redirect errors first, always.
