In<br \/>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/webmasters\/answer\/35252\" class=\"external-link\">Search Queries<\/a>,<br \/>\n  when you view your m. site* and set Filters to &#8220;Mobile,&#8221; from Dec 31, 2013 onwards, you&#8217;ll now<br \/>\n  see:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Queries where your m. pages appeared in search results for mobile browsers<\/li>\n<li>\n    Queries where Google applied<br \/>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/google-bilgi-bankasi\/introducing-smartphone-googlebot-mobile\/\">Skip Redirect<\/a>. This<br \/>\n    means that, while search results displayed the desktop URL, the user was automatically directed<br \/>\n    to the corresponding m. version of the URL (thus saving the user from latency of a server-side<br \/>\n    redirect).\n  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Skip Redirect information (impressions, clicks, etc.) calculated with mobile site.\"\n     src=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/kb-gorsel\/g-15c039e9f8a1.png\" loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\n  Prior to this Search Queries improvement, Webmaster Tools reported Skip Redirect impressions with<br \/>\n  the desktop URL. Now we&#8217;ve consolidated information when Skip Redirect is triggered, so that<br \/>\n  impressions, clicks, and CTR are calculated solely with the verified m. site, making your mobile<br \/>\n  statistics more understandable.\n<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"best-practices-if-you-have-a-separate-m.-site\" tabindex=\"-1\">Best practices if you have a separate m. site<\/h2>\n<p>\n  Here are a few search-friendly recommendations for those publishing content on a separate m. site:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n  Follow our advice on<br \/>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/alienroad.com\/google-bilgi-bankasi\/mobile-site-and-mobile-first-indexing-best-practices\/\">Building Smartphone-Optimized Websites<\/a>\n  <\/li>\n<li>\n    On the desktop page, add a special link <code>rel=\"alternate\"<\/code> tag pointing to the<br \/>\n    corresponding mobile URL.
