Organisation details reach two surfaces: the tooltip and organisation page in Yandex Maps, and a rich answer in search results carrying address, telephone and the Yandex Business rating. Yandex does not guarantee the rich answer will be shown.
Two ways to submit
- Yandex Business — add the organisation on the My businesses page, or link an existing listing to the site by entering the site URL in its Site field.
- Schema.org markup — the robot reads it and passes it to Yandex Business, where it may be published if it meets the requirements.
Both feed the same system. Markup is not an independent channel; it is a submission to Yandex Business.
The multi-address rule that costs snippets
By default users see the address of the organisation in their own region. But if several addresses are linked to one site:
- On desktop, the snippet displays no details and no rating at all.
- On mobile and tablet, it shows the rating of one address chosen at random.
That is a real consequence for chains and multi-branch businesses, and it is an argument for giving each branch its own page or subdomain with its own regional assignment rather than listing every address against one domain.
Advanced attributes
Beyond location, most organisation types accept additional attributes — cuisine type and average bill for a restaurant, available services for a clinic. All types support opening hours, alternative names and additional contact details. These are entered on the organisation page in Yandex Business, not through markup, and they appear in Maps pop-ups and organisation pages.
Changing what is shown
The address snippet is edited by editing the organisation card in Yandex Maps, not the site. Changes usually appear within a week. Additions and edits are moderated and can be rejected under the published rules.
Diagnosing a missing snippet
Top 30 in results; home page URL registered; the address in Yandex Business matching the console exactly on protocol and www; complete contact details. Failing any one of those produces silence rather than an error.
Cómo lo aplicamos
For multi-branch clients this page changes the architecture recommendation: several addresses on one domain suppress the desktop snippet entirely, so branch pages with their own regional assignment are worth the extra work. The other thing we check on every local client is that the URL in their Yandex Business listing matches the address verified in the console — it is the single most common reason an address snippet never appears, and nothing anywhere reports it as a problem.
