- Restore from a clean backup taken before the compromise.
- Change every credential, including database and hosting.
- Update everything, then remove the entry point.
- Request a review in Search Console.
Alien Road recommends: never request a review before you have found the entry point. A review that passes on a site still holding the vulnerability just means the warning returns in a fortnight, and repeat offences take longer to clear each time.
