Organisation and address markup feeds Yandex Business as well as Search, which is why it behaves differently from other structured data: the output can appear in Yandex Maps, in the organisation’s Maps page, and in a rich answer in results.
Choose the most specific type
Yandex processes schemas inherited from Organization and Place, and its supported list is granular to a degree most sites never exploit: Dentist, Plumber, BeautySalon, AutoRepair, Pharmacy, Notary, TravelAgency, ExerciseGym, Bakery, MobilePhoneStore and a few hundred more across education, medicine, food, retail, professional services, lodging, entertainment and civic structures. Using LocalBusiness when Dentist exists throws away specificity Yandex Business can act on.
The supported fields
name, url, telephone, faxNumber.addressasPostalAddress:addressCountry(name or ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code),addressLocality, addressRegion, streetAddress, postalCode, postOfficeBoxNumber.geoasGeoCoordinateswithlatitudeandlongitude—GeoShapeis not supported.location(Place) — and note the specific instruction: if the business sits inside a shopping centre, the mall name goes here.openingHours, supported for types inheriting fromCivicStructureandLocalBusinessunderPlace.
The alternative route
The same information can be submitted through Yandex Business directly, by adding the organisation and entering the site URL in its Site field. Markup and Yandex Business are two doors into the same system; for a business that already maintains a Maps listing, the listing is usually the more reliable source and the markup reinforces it.
Why the address snippet may not appear
Three conditions, all specific: the site must be in the top 30 results, the home page URL must be the one registered, and the site address must match the one in the console — same protocol, same www treatment — with full contact details (city, street, house number).
Comment nous l'appliquons
Two details from this page pay for themselves. First, pick the narrowest type that fits — the supported list goes down to Dentist and Plumber, and specificity is what Yandex Business uses. Second, the address snippet requires the registered site address to match the console exactly; a Maps listing pointing at the http:// non-www variant of a site that moved to HTTPS years ago produces no snippet and no error message anywhere.
