Wolknot β Global E-commerce and SEO on Shopify
In 2022, I built the Shopify-based e-commerce infrastructure for Wolknot.com and Woolknot.com.tr. The goal was to create a platform operating in both English and Turkish, focusing on both domestic and international sales.
First, I conducted a detailed keyword analysis relevant to the brand and product group; then, based on the results of this analysis, I restructured the category hierarchy, product pages, and content structure. Technical SEO settings, page titles, meta descriptions, URL structures, and image optimizations were improved end-to-end on Shopify.
To be better positioned on the Google side:
- Basic structured data and indexing settings have been configured for target countries and languages.
- A content and visibility strategy was created based on brand, category, and product-specific keywords.
- Website speed, mobile compatibility, and user experience metrics were analyzed from an SEO perspective.
- Increase in organic traffic (organic traffic increased by 120%).
- Conversion rate/sales increase (45% increase in e-commerce revenue).
- Improvements in UX metrics such as session duration and bounce rate (time spent on page increased by 60%).
As a result, Wolknot transformed into a multilingual, more search engine visible, and scalable e-commerce site on Shopify. The result was a robust infrastructure built on SEO, catering to both the Turkish market and global customers.
