Clicks on broken links is the report with no equivalent in any other search console: links that real users actually followed into an error, based on anonymised click data from Yandex Browser.
Three tabs
- External — clicks from other sites to non-existent pages of yours.
- Internal — clicks within your site to non-existent pages of yours.
- Outgoing — clicks from your pages to non-existent pages on other sites.
That third tab is unusual and underrated: it finds dead links in your own editorial content pointing outward, which no crawl of your own site would flag as a problem with your site, and which make a page look neglected to anyone who clicks.
What each row shows
The page carrying the link, the page it leads to, the HTTP status (4xx and 5xx, with entries disappearing once statuses change), the link text, and the date of the robot’s last check. Every tab exports to XLS or CSV.
Why it outranks the other two reports
- These errors have a measured audience; the rest are theoretical.
- Frequency tells you which fix matters first.
- It catches links from places no backlink tool sees — messaging apps, documents, emails — because it measures behaviour rather than crawling.
How to use it
Sort by clicks, fix the top of the list, re-check in a month. For external clicks, redirect to the nearest equivalent page. For internal ones, fix the source. For outgoing ones, update or remove the link — the destination is not yours to repair.
The one caveat
The data comes from Yandex Browser users, so it is a sample rather than a census. Relative frequency is reliable; absolute totals understate the real number.
Как мы это применяем
This is the single Yandex report with no Google equivalent that we would miss most. The outgoing tab is the one nobody looks at, and it is where we find editorial links that died years ago on pages the client still promotes. We treat the numbers as relative rather than absolute, since the data comes from one browser’s users.
