HubSpot Breeze is the name HubSpot gives to the AI features built into its customer platform: Breeze Copilot, a set of Breeze agents for jobs such as content, social, prospecting and customer service, and Breeze Intelligence for data enrichment. For marketers, it fits best where the work already lives inside HubSpot, because the AI can read the CRM, emails, pages and reports without extra integration.
What are the main parts of Breeze?
HubSpot announced Breeze in 2024 and has added and renamed features since, so check your portal’s settings for what is active on your plan. At the time of writing, the components fall into three groups.

- Breeze Copilot: an assistant in the HubSpot sidebar, browser extension and mobile app that answers questions about records, drafts emails and summarises activity.
- Breeze agents: task-focused agents such as a content agent for blog posts and landing pages, a social media agent, a prospecting agent and a customer agent for support.
- Breeze Intelligence: data enrichment that fills company and contact properties and can identify companies visiting your site, using credits.
- Embedded AI features: writing help in email, blog and ad editors, and AI suggestions in reports and workflows.
Many features use HubSpot credits, which are included in some plans and can be bought in addition. Watch credit usage in the account settings during the first month, since enrichment in particular can consume credits faster than expected.
Which marketing jobs does Breeze handle well?
Breeze is strongest when context from the CRM improves the output. A follow-up email written with knowledge of the contact’s last three page visits and form submissions is better than one written from scratch in a separate tool.
Content drafting
The content agent and editor tools can draft blog posts, landing pages and emails from a brief. Set up brand voice in the settings first, then treat every draft as a first draft that an editor shapes.

Reporting questions
Copilot can answer questions such as which campaigns produced the most new contacts last quarter, and can help build reports. It is useful for quick checks; for numbers going to leadership, confirm them in the standard report builder.
Data quality
Breeze Intelligence can fill missing company size, industry and location fields, which improves segmentation and lead scoring. Shorter forms become possible when enrichment supplies the fields you used to ask for.
Where does Breeze fall short?
Breeze knows your HubSpot data, not your whole business. If product usage data, finance data or offline sales live elsewhere and are not synced, the AI cannot use them and may give an incomplete answer that sounds complete.
Drafts can be generic when the brand voice settings are thin or the brief is vague. And enrichment data is not perfect; company records in some markets, including smaller Turkish businesses, may be sparse or outdated.
Teams that need advanced model choice, long custom prompts or complex multi-step agents may still use ChatGPT, Claude or a separate automation platform alongside HubSpot.
How should a marketing team roll it out?
Rolling out every Breeze feature at once creates confusion and burns credits. A phased plan works better.
- Week 1: set brand voice, review data and AI settings, decide who has access.
- Week 2: turn on Copilot for the marketing team and agree on three use cases.
- Week 3: pilot one agent, such as the content agent, on a real campaign.
- Week 4: test enrichment on a small list and check accuracy by hand.
- Month 2: review credit use, edit time and data quality, then expand or pause.
Assign a HubSpot admin as owner. They control which users can use AI features, monitor credits and keep a short internal guide on what the team should and should not ask Breeze to do.
What about data protection?
HubSpot publishes its AI data handling terms in its trust documentation. Read them with your data protection lead, especially if you hold personal data under GDPR or KVKK. Decide whether certain properties, such as health or financial information, should be excluded from AI features.
Enrichment and website visitor identification raise their own questions. Make sure your privacy notice explains how company data is collected and used, and that your consent banner covers the tracking involved.
How Alien Road applies HubSpot Breeze
Our CRM team starts with a portal audit: property hygiene, lifecycle stages, workflows and which data sources are connected. Breeze can only be as good as the portal it reads, so gaps found here are fixed first.
Setup includes brand voice configuration, user permissions for AI features, and a pilot of one agent on a live campaign. We write a short internal playbook for the client’s team listing approved uses and prompts.
Measurement covers edit time on AI drafts, enrichment fill rate and accuracy on a sampled list, and credit usage against plan. A monthly note recommends which features to expand and which to switch off.
How do you judge whether Breeze is worth it?
Compare it with what the team already does. If writers already use ChatGPT or Claude with good templates, Breeze’s content tools may add little except convenience. If the main gap is CRM context, such as follow-ups that ignore a contact’s history, Breeze has a clear edge because it reads that history directly.
For enrichment, run a sample of a few hundred records and check them against company websites or LinkedIn. If accuracy is acceptable for your market, the time saved on manual research is usually easy to calculate.
One more practical test: ask Copilot the same question twice in different words, such as which source brought the most qualified leads last month. If the answers differ, the underlying properties or source tracking probably need cleanup, and that is worth fixing before anyone relies on AI answers in meetings.
Where to start this week
Go to your HubSpot account settings and review which AI features are on and who can use them. Fill in the brand voice section with real examples of your writing. Then pick one task your team repeats weekly, such as drafting follow-up emails after webinars, and try it with Copilot on five real contacts. Time the edits and note any facts it got wrong.
