Informers are small widgets that display site statistics — traffic from Yandex Metrica, or indexing and query data from Yandex Webmaster — on a page or dashboard you control.
What they are useful for
- Putting a single number in front of a team that will not log into a console.
- Internal dashboards where search data sits alongside other business metrics.
What they are not
They are a display convenience, not an analysis tool. Every decision worth making needs the full report behind the number.

We rarely deploy informers. In our experience a number without its context invites the wrong conclusion; we would rather send a client a short monthly note than a widget that shows traffic falling with no explanation attached.
